The M3A1 Stuart Light Tank was an American light tank used during World War II, developed as an upgraded version of the earlier M3 Stuart. Introduced in 1942, the M3A1 featured a redesigned turret with a power traverse system and an improved gun stabilizer for its 37 mm main gun.
